    • I figured I'd make a post on the how the Temple of the Monkey God Sacrifices worked, since the archive forums are dead, and I want to fix some mistakes from the original post.

      Sacrifice points, which were not mentioned in the previous thread determine how much damage and pierce the temple beam has. This is split into 5 categories for each type of sacrifice, each value ranging from 1 to 5. These values are added together to get the pierce and damage of the temple's beam attack.

      It is actually a misconception that you need a 'maxed' temple to get the most damage because the way how damage upgrades work. The base attack does 3 damage, and every 2 tiers, this value increases by 1. Since the highest number of sacrifice points is 25, the last point is negated, meaning that you can have a tier 4 sacrifice and still get optimal damage output (which would be 15).

      Sure, this means you're missing out on 5 pierce, but that boost is negligible considering the fact that you're most likely going to get this upgrade after round 85, and by that point pierce upgrades really don't matter that much anymore especially once you've got so much (base pierce is 50, and each point adds 5, so with 24 points you'll have 170 pierce).

      The sacrifice tiers are broken up into 5 sections:
      1: <$1500
      2: $1500-4499
      3: $4500-9999
      4: $10000-29999
      5: $30000+

This means if ceramics are present normally, a MOAB can spawn too, will not spawn additional bloons below MOAB.
