    What, in your opinion, is the best tower, and why? I am personally of the stance that every tower can be the best under the right circumstances, but would probably vote bomb tower if pushed, just because of how versatile it is, and almost perfect with monkey knowledge, it's only weakness being camo Bloons. With impact, huge crowds can be destroyed, with mauler/assassin blimps melt, with knowledge, all bloon types can be struck other than camouflage.

    One might also argue for ninja, because of how effective of a tower it is, being able to carry you up from low level to high, but all in all it is outclassed by bombs for bossing, not so much crowds, but still bombs are better, because they can strip layers off of all Bloons in range, as opposed to a few layers off of a few Bloons, though the ninja's natural camouflage detection and ability to pop leads with the flash bomb makes it quite close, and the sabotage is nice, but only really effective coupled with other towers, therefore outclassed by the standalone maulers/assassins.

    I would say the spike factory. Ninja may outclass it in regular tiles, but it is very very useful in CT and bosses. It has camo detection, the ability to pop leads when upgraded to (2/x) and it has very effective moab popping power on the right side (x/3) and it has very good bloon popping power on the left side (4/x). It is quite a versatile tower. Maybe not the best for early game like the ninja, or the best for late game like the super monkey, but it can be very effective when paired with other towers correctly.

          Ninja's, Farms, Monkey Aces, Monkey Villages, Spike Factories and Ice towers

          Ninja's are just awesome bloon and moab popping power in all stages of game, early, middle, and late game.

          Farms because you get lots a of money

          Spectres, have, in my opinion the best bloon popping power for its cost

          Villages make everything cheaper and make other towers a lot better like the ninja and spectre

          Spike Factories moab shredder spikes are kind of OP in MVM

          And the artic wind has near infinite bloon popping power under a village.

            There's no definitive answer here - it all depends on what level you are, what level your MK is and what map you're on. Even then, there's no clear answer, as each tower has its own strengths and weaknesses. If I had to choose only one, my favourite tower is the 4/2 ninja ... with level 15 MK ...... it 's freakin' awesome .....

              0/0 Dart Monkey beats everything, scrubs. One may also argue that the 0/0 Glue Gunner or 0/0 Ice Tower is better.

                In terms of a tower being able to solo with only itself, No assistance from Monkey Villages and no levels in Monkey Knowledge, Dartling Guns are the best overall tower. It can detect both camo and lead, And doesn't suffer from Crowd Control problems the same way that other towers would. The only real hindrance is the fact you do need to rely on your mouse cursor, Although it doesn't take much knowledge to utilise this properly. Although with aid from Monkey Villages and Monkey Knowledge, The number one spot would go to the Ninja, Second place belonging to the Tack Shooter, And third place belonging to the Spike Factory.

                - Ninja places first is simply because the ninja will never fall off, Excluding boss events. Early game Bloonjitsu is supreme, Later games Supply Lines Sabotage is supreme. (Although Bloonjitsu can still be effective, It just doesn't make as big of an impact). Its use only further increases when you're able to get up to seven shuriken at once. It lets one tower be able to deal with practically every bloon early on, Only requiring minimal assistance for dense rushes.

                - Tack Shooter places second due to the immense popping power and low cost. At lower level Monkey Knowledge it's better to go with a Ring of Fire due to steady attack rate, The high popping power, And the fact the tower will concentrate the entirety of it's popping power cap to one area. (As opposed to having it spread out across the attack radius like Tack Sprayer). Towards high Monkey Knowledge categories however, Tack Sprayer becomes more optimal due to the immense popping power increase it receives, And being able to shred multiple layers at once from bloons due to the clustering of the tacks. Tack Sprayer also deals immense damage to blimps, Being able to inflict all 16 shots on MOAB's (Blimps wider than the track thing), Making them ideal for boss events, Or even catching D.D.T's. Blade Maelstrom is also the best panic button in the game, Being able to take out dense bloon rushes that threaten the players defences. Stacked with the low cooldown, It can be heavily relied upon.

                - The Spike Factory places third because while it may preform extraordinarily well on later rounds, It's inefficient during earlier rounds, And will always need to assistance from other defences, As it lacks any real crowd control abilities. (Spiked mines do have a limit) MOAB SHREDR stands as one of the best MOAB-Defence tools in the game, It cuts down virtually all blimps in seconds (Excluding ZOMG's, Although that won't take much longer), And in extreme cases you can pop Spike Storm to decimate MOAB rushes, Letting other towers deal with the excess. Spiked Mines can also be handy, Although not nearly to the extent that MOAB SHREDR is. It is an effective method of stopping any excess leaks that slip by your tower's defences, The only real problem is the cost. I find things like a Spectre can deal just as well of a job, Costing around the same if not less and not being restricted to one area of the track.

                Honourable mention is the Ice Tower for third.

                  Early, middle, late or very late game?
                  I haven't yet done one tower challenge with every tower. Only with Darts, Apprentice and Boomers. Ninjas can have early problems with leads, same as Darts. Boomers with camo but Anticamodust deals with that problem easily. So, actually most easy to use is Apprentice. At least for very early game they are very good. At my try they were able to take down DTTs too (under MIB). I know the hate for them and i don't use them myself expect for battles.

                    No assistance disregards any treasure items, Knowledge, Monkey village, Etc to give the tower an advantage. I mean only the tower itself. Dart Monkeys were a close second, However as powerful the SMFC is, It will fall off in denser rushes. Dartling is the only tower with no real weakness, And have the upgrades to back them up.

                    Spoiler:
                    Dart Monkeys weakness: Dense BFB's, D.D.T's.
                    Tack Shooters weakness: Camo, D.D.T's.
                    Sniper Monkey weakness: Crowd control
                    Boomerang Thrower weakness: Camo, Dense MOAB's.
                    Ninja Monkey weakness: Lead's (Early), D.D.T's.
                    Bomb Tower weakness: Black/Zebra, Camo, Regrowth, Dense Ceramic's.
                    Ice Tower weakness: Camo, White/Zebra, MOAB class.
                    Glue Gunner weakness: Camo, MOAB class.
                    Monkey Buccaneer weakness: Limited terrain.
                    Monkey Ace weakness: Lead, Dense BFB's, Cost
                    Super Monkey weakness: Camo's, Cost
                    Monkey Apprentice weakness: Regrowth's, ZOMG's.
                    Monkey Village(4/2) weakness: Crowd control, Cost.
                    Mortar Tower weakness: MOAB class.
                    Dartling Gun weakness: Dense ZOMG's, Accuracy.
                    Spike Factory weakness: Crowd control, Dense Ceramic's.
                    Monkey Engineer weakness: Dense Ceramic's.

                    Out of this list of vulnerabilities, Dartling Gun's weakness are the least critical. Accuracy you can help remedy with tower placement. Buccaneer would have actually beaten Dartling Guns, However the problem is the tower is limited by terrain. In a majority of maps, This terrain isn't available.

                          Engineers also tend to fall off due to their lack of pierce, They're good with spaced blimps but can easily fall, Even with sentries.

                            I'm a huge fan of the ninjas - 4/2 ninja is the reason why I can beat round 5 MOAB tiles on the second city at level 30 with no boosts/crates/bloonstones. And the spike factory is great for DDTs and CT. But I'm going to say ICE TOWER! They are by far the most effective way to kill mass ceramic rushes. A 3/2 ice tower in a 2/3 village will kill INFINITE ceramics! With a 2/3 mortar, they are effective on DDT tiles as well. The Ice Shards upgrade is often overlooked but very powerful - that combined with a Glaive Lord has destroyed the most dense of ceramic rushes, and will deal with camos if in a Monkey Village (which the 3/2 won't deal with). That said, I could easily have given the title to the ninja, the spike factory, the village, the farm or even the tack shooter (2/4 plus quick thinking has saved my life many times in MvMs).

                              Still midgame here and I'll list the ones I use against the packs of BFBs and MOABs and EVEN REKKIN THE DDTs:

                              2/3 Dart Monkeys
                              3/x Arctic Wind
                              2/2 Engineers
                              4/2 Ninja
                              and...
                              2/3 Sniper.
